Seller's comments about 1969' MG MGB
1969 MGB, MARK II,
Possibility of completing a root restoration project in a specialized and exclusive workshop in the MG Brand with the entire process accompanied by an expert and mechanic specialized in the model being restored, which consisted of:
1. Receipt of MGB imported from Florida. American version
2. Total disassembly of the imported MGB and packaging of parts that can be reused;
3. Identification of the parts to be purchased and/or restored;
4. Preparing the car for painting, namely its adaptation to the European version. The MGB was original, American version, with zero rust;
5. Oven painting by a specialized company and in MG's 1969 Green British Racing pantone;
6. Currently, the painted chassis is parked in a classic garage, in Cascais;
7. As parts that constitute stock, I highlight the European dashboard (new), gearbox (reconditioned) with overdrive, hardtop, tonneau, canvas top, spoked rims, seats, etc.
The 1969 MGB was imported from Florida and has the import documents duly paid and official. However, it was not inspected / legalized / registered and this procedure must be requested after the restoration is completed.
If you wish (and I recommend it) the project can be continued in the workshop specialized in the MG brand.
Sale of the project as is and I provide all the information you need. Estimated project completion €14,000.
