Styled by Pininfarina, the GT combined simple mechanics with a sleek hatchback body, creating a superb practical sports coupe.The result was a car big on driver appeal who wanted sporting character without sacrificing every day practicality. Nowadays the MG GBT enjoys strong club support and excellent parts availability.This superb car is a 1972 chrome bumper example that benefits from a comprehensive restoration in the 2020’s with new body panels, stainless steel exhaust and wire wheels. The car was repainted from bare metal in the original teal blue.Many invoices on file with body panels, paint and parts alone totalling over £10, 000.
