This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Classic Sale at the NEC Classic Motor Show 2025 on Sunday the 9th of November, NEC, Birmingham, B40 1NT.Offered fresh to market after forming part of Roy McCarthy's personal MG collection for a period of almost 30 yearsOur vendor recalls "The car was purchased about 35 years ago by my father from one of his customers as it was an unusual car due to it being an automatic, where only about 2, 000 were made. He rebuilt the engine and had the gearbox overhauled, he also carried out a full respray and then stored it away until now. The car has hardly been used since then"The MG is presently up and running, however, after an extensive period of storage we suggest that mechanical recommissioning will be required prior to returning the vehicle to the roadYour early inspection is welcomed and encouraged to appreciate the opportunity on offer
