1974' MG MGB

Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1974.5 MG MGB GT. The BGT has undergone a complete restoration at a cost exceeding $35k and has been retrofitted with early-style chrome bumpers front and rear (a much more attractive arrangement, in our opinion, than the rubber bumpers that debuted in 74). Finished in Pewter Silver Metallic over Biscuit interior, cosmetically this car shines both inside and out. The body is straight with excellent paint quality, panel gaps and door fitment. This MG has also been updated for maximum comfort and driveability, thanks to air conditioning, heated seats and overdrive. During the restoration, the car was completely stripped down for paint - it received all new seals, bumpers and trim plus new wheels and tires. Interior was likewise fully restored with all new materials, including custom Biscuit seat covers with black piping. Heated seats and ice-cold A/C add considerably to driver comfort in any season. A modern AM/FM/CD stereo with bluetooth, USB and aux input is fitted in the console. Under the bonnet is a 1.8 liter four-cylinder mated to a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Every major mechanical system was serviced, restored or replaced, including a complete engine re-seal and top-end rebuild, new distributor with electronic ignition, Weber 45DCOE sidedraft carb, complete suspension overhaul, new clutch, and new clutch and brake system hydraulics.
