Seller's comments about 1977' MG MGB

This 1977 MGB has recently undergone a complete restoration. The car was taken completely apart and everything was either rebuilt, refurbished and/or replaced. Rebuilt engine, New Leather Interior, New carpeting, New Convertible Top, New Tonneau Cover, New Tires, New Brakes, etc...etc... and the list goes on and on. The person who rebuilt this car spared no expense, and in his case, it was indeed a labor of Love. Several Upgrades were also made to the car during the restoration process. The Leather interior kit alone was close to $2500. The car looks practically brand new! From the Engine Compartment to the underside of the car, from the Interior to the Exterior, this car looks Immaculate! The Original clock even works! To have an MGB restored to this level of restoration would more than likely cost you between $20-$25,000 and take from 1-2 years to complete. That's only if you could find a competent Mechanic who knows British Cars, and was able to fit you into his busy schedule. This car runs great, shifts as it should, and drives and handles as it should. The car has less than 200 miles on it since it's restoration, and I've put most of them on the car. This car isn't perfect. It's been sitting for a few years and has some minor electrical issues that need to be sorted out. If you're familiar with British Sports Cars then you know that these cars are notorious for having electrical issues! No big deal, It's simply that since the restoration on this car was completed, the car hasn't been properly sorted out yet! Once that's done, the car will be as reliable as any British Sports Car can be! At $15,000 this car is a steal compared to what other MGB's, restored to this level, are selling for. If you have any questions feel free to give me a call and I'll tell you the fascinating story behind this wonderful little MGB. Thanks for your interest in the car. David (618) 407-6474
