Seller's comments about 1979' MG Mgb Gt

Fisher Performance are very proud to offer for sale this beautiful 1980 MGB GT 1800cc Manual with Overdrive.
The vehicle is finished in Factory black with black leather upholstery and chrome wire wheels.
This stunning MGB has been with its last keeper for 4 years and during this time the car has been bought up to the standard you see today. Lots of time and effort has gone into the refurbishment of the car and it has most recently had the engine removed and fully detailed, carburettors serviced and the suspension polybushed.
In addition to this, it boasts a fully reupholstered leather interior, rubber to chrome bumper conversion, chrome wire wheels, Moto Lita steering wheel, and engine bay battery conversion are some of the fabulous upgrades that gives the MG its stunning look today, as well as a much more practical ownership.
The history file that accompanies the car is equally as impressive going back to day one with the original order form and sales invoice from Page Motors of Epsom. They were Jaguar, Daimler, Rover, Triumph, Austin, Wolseley and MG dealers and supplied the car on 1st January 1980 to Mrs Clark of South Sutton at a total on the road cost of £5610. 29p, this included a discount of £250 as well.
Just over 1, 000 miles ago a fully rebuilt unleaded engine was fitted by Moto Build Ltd along with a new clutch with the invoice on file. On the road the car certainly performs as well as it looks, the engine is very strong with the correct oil pressure and the overdrive gearbox smooth and fully operational. The stainless steel exhaust makes sure the sound of the car matches its looks also.
This is a very well sorted car with every detail considered including the rear tailgate fast struts, right down to the period radio cassette and fully working electric aerial. A car that is ready to go and will grace any classic car club meeting or showground. Although now tax and mot exempt a fresh mot has been applied for your own peace of mind
