1980' MG Mgb Gt

1980 ‘W’ Reg MGB GT which has only covered 108,000 miles from new and has the 3rd and 4th Gear Overdrive. The head has been converted to Unleaded use and has excellent Oil Pressure with not a sign of any smoke Hot or Cold. Fitted with an additional Electric Thermo adjusted Fan and has had a new radiator fitted. It copes no problem with traffic and this hot weather.
NON leaking Webasto Sunroof in excellent condition. This car comes with a MOT till April 2019, runs on 4 near new tyres and has a MASSIVE Service History File. The MG starts on the button and drives well and ready to drive for the Summer and Classic Car Shows. It’s just had an Service and Tune Up. Everything works on the car as it should. This really is an ideal starter into the Classic Car scene and is ready to go.
CHASSIS: This MG is no exception to the tin worm in the past and has had it’s fair share of welding in the past but it’s done to a very good standard and has now had a rust proof treatment which should preserve the car for many years to come.
BODY: Although the body is in presentable condition, it’s got signs of filler and Touch Up in time to come it could do with attention and benefit from a Respray but can easily be done in the Winter ready for the following Summer.
INTERIOR: Typical BL 1970’s Style Striped Interior in very good condition for the year. The Drivers Door Card could do with replacing and the drivers seat re-filling. It’s got a modern Sony Stereo although the speakers could do with replacing.
