1980 MGB GT for sale.
Drives great - ready for summer. MOT Until April 2018. 62,500 miles. 5 owners. The car comes with a full folder covering service history. Not much known about first two owners; first registered in North London in 1980. Third owner bought her in 1987 and kept her for 23 years. During this period the car had tens of thousands spent on her including a new engine, gearbox, overdrive and sills.
The fourth owner bought her in 2010 and replaced various consumable parts including radiator, brakes, king pins, water pump, carburettor rebuild, alternator, starter motor, fuel tank and fuel lines! Also installed a cd changer and stainless steel sports exhaust.
I have had the car since April 2014 and it has driven brilliantly all that time. Starts every time with a little choke and overdrive still working well. I have added a walnut moto lita steering wheel, 2 new front shock absorbers and carried out welding around the suspension.
A very reluctant sale, but unfortunately I don't have enough time to drive the car. Sale includes original Haynes manual and various tools.
