Bit of history about this great family owned Roadster,
Brother purchased the car new on 07/01/1971 and sadly passed away around 1978 and the family had the car in storage for 20 years and then the sister changed it into her name 1/10/1998 and in 1999 car was taken out of storage by a garage to get it back on the road.
After inspection the engine was seized , so the MG had new Ivor Searle Engine fitted and at this point the car had only carried out 57,717 miles.Also gearbox and overdrive unit was reconditioned , new brakes,suspension etc invoices for this work come to over £4000.00.
From 1999 the car was used by the Sister and had a mot every year it now has 70,000 miles so only 13,000 miles on new engine, we purchased the car in February 2016 and is now under full bare metal restoration.The shell is the most solid one we have had,small repair needed near headlight and bottom of on wing corner.
Car will come fully restored, with your choice of colour scheme ie paint, hood, interior etc.there will be a new interior including carpets,exterior paint restoration and also underside painted body colour, new chrome,new hood,brakes,suspension etc replaced or refurbished .
