1966' MG Midget

This Beautiful car has been constructed from a Mg midget to replicate the iconic Speedwell sprite by Severn Classics, the job began with a shot blast back to bare metal and strip back to the bare original chassis.

It was then possible to see where the bad metal was ready to repair, rebuild and replace all panels on the Midget where rebuilt while the arches are new, as are the B-posts and the floor, the rear floor has been modified. Old steel doors have been replaced with new aluminium doors and inside an FIA roll cage has been fitted. The full nut and bolt rebuild has covered every component upon and in the car.

The whole body is wrapped up in the lightweight fibreglass Sebring body from ARCHERS to give that distinctive super car look with its flowing lines and curves.racey.

On to the power , the 1275 BMC engine has been fully rebuilt with new pistons and rings, and the gearbox has been rebuilt too.

A plush red leather interior wool carpets and wooden steering wheel where fitted making the cabin classy yet racey.
The car is finished off with wire wheels and a Mk11 Jaguar gunmetal grey paint job with period racing stripe .

This is a fantastic car available at the fraction of what a build like this would cost .
