1978' MG Midget

Here for sale I have my much loved MG Midget 1500. This is a really nice example of an old british classic. It has been completely restored and is in great condition. Its 1500cc engine has been rebuilt, according to a previous owner I have been in contact with this was done by an F1 mechanic, and my word does it run well. As you can see from the pictures under the bonnet is pristine and it runs as well as it looks. Once warm starts as soon as you turn the key and is strong and powerful, revs all the way up the rev range without missing and will do it all day, I've had lots of old cars but this is one of the best old engines I've ever experienced.

Underneath the car is incredibly clean, with a fairly new exhaust system on as well. There is not a spot of rust on this car, the paintwork is in really rather good condition and it really is a head turner in this stunning red.

Comes with lots of old receipts and old MOT's, MOT until April 2018, but will happily put 12 months on it for whoever buys it. Roof is also in good condition and doesn't leak and also comes with the cover for when its down. Has kenwood speakers and a CD player with a AUX connection. This really is a great car which I'm sorry to see go, i'd recommend viewing and testing as it really is a good example and the engine really is a one off. Offers considered
