Seller's comments about 1979' MG Midget
Here we have one of my MG Midget projects, one of three that I currently have. I am unable to spend the time on these cars and am also now seriously struggling for storage space. If you come to view the car at my unit you will understand!!
MG Midget 1500cc. First registered February 1978. Am now selling as a project due to not having time to do any restoration or mechanical work on the car. Please see my other items as other projects are up for sale.
This was one of three midgets I bought a couple of years ago and then was put into storage. All were mot'd prior to being stored. This one is in Metallic Green with a good hood and decent interior. The car starts, runs and stops. Engine is extremely sweet sounding with no knocks or rattles. It is also very clean looking and would think it has been removed recently for some work and painted while is was out. The bodywork I would say is very good apart from the boot lid. Some pieces of trim on the sills have been removed.
This is a great project for someone. Unfortunately, I am unable to offer any help with carrying out any work and supplying an mot with the car at additional cost hence its being sold as a project.
