Very rare MG TB n exceptional conditions, number plate and documents original. Eligible for 1000 miglia with a very interesting past and history In 1939 a new MG car with several improvements debuted under the abbreviation TB, adopting the XPAG 1250 cc inline 4-cylinder engine for the first time. This powertrain derives from the Morris Ten, updated with more efficient tuning and the adoption of two carburettors. As with the TA, the TB will be available as a roadster (standard) or with the more popular Tickford "drophead coupé" bodywork manufactured by Salmons & Sons. Among the TB versions, the most sought after and the rarest is the elegant Tickford: the entry of the United Kingdom into the Second World War stopped the production of the TB in September 1939 at 379 copies, of which only 57 equipped with the splendid Drophead Tickford bodywork. Only 24 of these car today survive. Possibility of partial exchange with MG TC or MG A in equal conditions
