1949' MG TC
The car was restored in 1969-70. The owner then worked away and stored the car until he put it back on the road in the early 1980’s. It was hardly used until the owner died, and was then kept by his family through various house moves until 2011 when they sold it to me. It had less than 350 miles on the clock since it’s rebuild in 1970 and now has around 1700 miles in total. When I recommissioned the car I fitted a stainless exhaust, electronic ignition, and a modern oil filter conversion so it starts and runs reliably.
Too many other cars mean I just don’t use this enough so it’s time for a new owner to enjoy it. A car that has real character instead of a shiny anodyne clone with loads of poor pattern parts. It has blemishes so will not suit a perfectionist or rivet-counter. May deal on pre-war (preferably) motorcycle, or Shovelhead or earlier Harley Davidson.
