The term iconic is used today to describe a multitude of cars, some of which undoubtedly did not earn that status. But this MINI, without a doubt, fully deserves the praise. In 1959, a small team led by Sir Alec Issigonis launched the MINI. A small, economical car with a front-wheel drive transverse engine, which helped maximize space to accommodate four people. The 1275 GT model is easily recognized by its squarer front facelift, courtesy of stylist Roy Haynes. This model was produced from 1969 to 1980 and was widely used in Portugal in competition, with excellent results both in rallies and on the track. This unit has an A to Z restoration documented and certified by the Caramulo Museum.
