1985' Morgan Plus 4 4/4 4 Seater

We are a small family business and have been trading locally for the last 47 years. We predominantly sell modern vehicles, however classic and vintage cars are our real passion, and here is another such example.

Here is a great opportunity to own what is becoming a fast appreciating classic Morgan 4/4 sports car which is finished in a great colour combination of Morgan factory Nut brown, with contrasting Cinnamon VM leather and full weather equipment. It is also fitted with the rarer 2.0 litre twin cam fiat engine together with a 5 speed gearbox. It has covered 55000 miles and is motd until 03/05/18 with no advisors.

It appears to be very good mechanically having driven it at some length. Its 2.0 litre twin cam engine is really lively, infact I can honestly say I think it is the quickest I have driven. It starts instantly, has great oil pressure and performs without fault on the road and is quite capable of keeping up with everyday traffic. The same can be said for the 5 speed gearbox, clutch, brakes and steering all of which work again without fault.

Being a Plus 4 it has the wider wings and wider wire wheels which gives it the look of sitting lower and of course the handling is better.

The interior is completely original throughout. It is fully trimmed throughout in Cinnamon leather which although is very presentable it would benefit from a good leather feed and re connolising. The weather equipment is also in really nice order, including its hood, full mohair tonneau cover, 1/4 tonneau cover for the hood when it is folded down, and a set of 4 side screens.

It has a factory alloy body fitted together with the wings and although is not without the odd minor blemish, is overall in a nice and presentable condition, it is very straight and tidy and is perfectly usable as is. It does have various chips on edges and stone chips to the front wings, and a very small localised bit of festering on a rear wheel arch. All of the panel gaps are very good. The chassis appears to be in excellent condition with no advisors on its last mot stating anything different.

We have a current V5 showing 4 previous owners however last 2 were husband and wife, a Morgan chassis record build sheet, an original handbook, current mot with no advisors, and approximately 10 years of invoices including one to the tune of nearly £7000 for new ash frame work, metalwork and new cam belt all completed by a well known and respected Morgan main dealer and specialist.

It is fitted with a chrome luggage rack, big bore exhaust which sounds fantastic, wider wire wheels, fold flat windscreen complete with 2 aero screens, stainless bumpers, badge bar and headlamp grilles . There are also spare keys with the car.
