Just arrived at The Garage! 1961 Morris Minor 1000 Convertible Not so much a car - more a great British Institution! The Morris Minor was for many years an integral part of the English landscape. Available as a two or four door saloon, convertible, Traveller, van and pick-up, there was a Minor to suit every purpose. The Convertible version has always been much loved and demand has meant that a number of two door saloons have undergone conversion to this format. This 1961 example was converted by the Morris Minor Centre in Bath, with the work being carried out to a particularly good standard with a number of additional features added - these included servo braking, later 1098cc engine, front and rear seat belts and power point for phone charging or satnav. Since being supplied by the Morris Minor Centre in 2019, less than 2, 000 miles have been covered and the car presents in immaculate order, being finished in the correct BMC colour of Maroon, which contrasts well with the light tan interior. The black hood fits properly and there is also a hood cover included. A delightful example of this iconic motor car, it is sure to give much pleasure to the new owner.
