1937' Morris Eight

For sale is a 1937 morris eight sliding head 2 door saloon. The car was brought as a basket case with the understanding that most of the car was there. Since then other parts have been sourced. So as far as I am aware it is about 97% complete. The only major thing that is not present is the sliding part of the sliding head. The car has a current V5C. There are two body shells one that is sound apart from the bottom and the other has been repaired at the bottom but the top has gone beyond repair. The plan was to use the one to repair the other. The chassis needs repair to the rear but there is a second chassis that has been made that fits inside the original one. So this can be let in and so form a solid repair. Both the engine and two gearbox have been professionally rebuilt, there is also another box reputedly from a van. Both the front and rear axles have also been rebuilt and cleaned and painted. Numerous spare have been acquired to go with the car including a lot of refurbished or new old stock 6 volt electronics. all the seats and upholstery are present, they just need a good clean. All the wings, doors and bonnet are good with no dents or major rust.
