The Morris Eight is a small family car produced by Morris Motors from 1935 to 1948 and was inspired by the popularity of the Ford Model Y. The success of the car enabled Morris to regain its position as Britain's largest motor manufacturer. This 1938 Morris 8 Series 2 4 seat tourer was subject to a full body off restoration and is a real gem. The restoration included a total nut and bolt rebuild, replacement of the ash frame and retrim of the interior - which remains as good as the day it was fitted. The paintwork is in good order and has mellowed nicely, as can be seen in the pictures. Mechanically, it starts and runs very well and drives immaculately. The car comes with a lot extras including spare wheel cover, luggage rack, trunk, full tonneau and wet weather gear including side screens. The car has just been fitted with new tyres all round, as well as a brand new battery. TAX and MOT exempt. Please feel free to contact us for further information or to arrange a viewing. We are happy to consider part exchange. Nationwide delivery available.
