1948' Morris Eight Series E

If I had another garage I would not sell this car. However, I need the space for another project. Any viewing can be arranged.

Very little history with this car I'm afraid. So what you see is what you get. A good clean honest car that has been renovated throughout to a good standard. A tiny tiny bit of corrosion on a door, but it has to be pointed out to be seen. The chassis is great, interior is good and comfy. It starts and stops well. Has working trafficators and indicators. The car was converted to 12v before I had her and an alternator has been fitted. After that to all intensive purposes she is as original as I could keep her.

I have spent 18 months getting her fit for the road and have done some local shows and picnic outings. She rides a treat and gets a fair amount of attention. Its rare to go down the town and just walk away from the car after parking up. There are so many folk want to chat and tell stories of their cars.

New floor, new brake shoes, front bearings, head studs, clutch indicators, bright flashing LED trafficators, Alternator refitted properly. New hoses, Sump spanner included, New coil, rebuilt petrol pump new rad cock, under sump drip tray recently recovered seats good headlining, interior mirror and door mirror. new hubcaps new pedal rubbers, fan belt.

Everything works as it should, except the fuel gauge. Folk in the Morris Register tells me they were rarely accurate or even worked almost from new.

I need the space urgently for another project so it has to go sadly. Any viewing can be arranged. I am in Stourbridge. Just call me.
