1965' Morris Minor 1000

A really excellent example of the ever-popular and very useable classic Morris Minor. Looking very smart indeed with its very good Dove Grey paint finish and nicely re-trimmed interior, including headlining. This car is so good structurally, that you would think it was a four or five year old car. It has a very good MOT history file, but seems to have been off the road for a short period around 2006-2012, as there are no certificates for this period, and we think it was probably being restored at that time. Underneath, it is excellent and we can find only one small welded section. It does indeed, look very original underneath. The car has five almost new Bridgestone tyres, the chrome work is mainly good, some of it new, and we think it has had a new windscreen as there are no marks. The battery is good, as is the exhaust and the car starts, runs and drives very well indeed, with good oil pressure. Apart from the door mirrors, this car seems to be totally original specification-wise, which makes a pleasant change from the usual messed about and 'improved' examples. There is a current MOT with no advisories, and V5C. We are not saying that this car is perfect - there are one or two small imperfections, but it is in such good condition overall, and so refreshingly original in specification, that it represents terrific value.
