1956' Morris Minor

Here is a very nice example of the popular Morris Minor. Its a June 1956 model with 803cc and 4 speed gearbox finished in grey with red interior.

Its a much rarer 4-door saloon and is very original. Whilst it is not concours it is in excellent condition for the year, and will be ideal for local shows or club rallies. It benefits from new carpets and a superbly clean and tidy interior.
Mechanically the little A-series engine starts and runs well, and the gears all select precisely. It runs, drives and handles exactly as it should, and athough its not like driving your 2022 Range Rover, it is the perfect entry to classic motoring. The tyres are all very good, and the underside is excellent and the trafficators still work.
The car is 66 years old, so there are a few age related marks here and there, but nothing that detracts from the overall excellent condition. It would take away the charm to change it, so I'd recommend driving as it is. There is certainly nothing that is calling out for attention. The mileometer has stopped, so mileage is not certain, but these are bulletproof. The fact it has survived intact since 1956 is proof of the way its been cared for.
This car has been garage in the dry over recent years, and is used weekly. Excellent spares availability and owners club resources make the Morris Minor cheap and easy to run and maintain.
