We are very pleased to offer a very charming 1963 Morris Minor two door finished in period Smoke Grey with a contrasting beautiful interior, this fantastic matching numbers example is a true survivor that has been lovingly cherished and has only had eight keepers in 60 years and is accompanied with a detailed service history folder including many receipts and previous MOT certs. This Morris will instantly get under your skin as it has a nice early Sixties appeal. It benefits from tasteful and effective upgrades including wider Minilite wheels, front anti roll bar and period Lucas spotlights. This Morris certainly gets lots of attention as it is a fantastic looking example.
On the road it drives very well, the original engine is super smooth and very willing, I have taken her on the Motorway and she cruised with ease, the gearbox is also precise and very easy to use. The braking system, which is very effective has been upgraded for servo assistance giving a reassuring and responsive pedal and the steering is light and precise. It also benefits from wider wheels which do make a real difference over the originals and she holds the road very well and is a good fun example. Morris Minors have a global following and its well deserved, they are easy to drive and have a huge club following and easy parts supply.
The interior is one of the nicest I have seen and is presented in fantastic condition. The seats, door cards and roof liner are in very good condition as is the dash and fantastic original steering wheel. The recent carpets are also in good condition and this example has also been fitted with very useful inertia reel seatbelts. This Morris also has a radio and speakers and a temperature gauge. The engine bay and boot are also very well detailed.
This Morris has a very solid shell with fantastic floor pans and boot floor. It has been well maintained and it shows, the paintwork is well presented and in keeping with its age and is showing only slight imperfections but it really does belie its vintage, it can easily sit on any display stand but hopefully it will be making you smile on the open road as much as it does me. This year is its 60th birthday and it is ready for many more adventures.
This Morris has a full MOT and is MOT and tax exempt and is ready to be enjoyed.
