1961' Morris Minor Convertible

1961 MORRIS MINOR 1000 CONVERTIBLE. FACTORY BUILT ORIGINAL. LONG MOT. TAX AND MOT EXEMPT. BEAUTIFUL CAR. "MASSIE"


MAS 956 was first registered in 1961 and is an original factory built convertible (not a cut down saloon). It has a M/AT chassis number. The beautiful paintwork is I think called Rose Taupe. The car is in excellent condition all round and with the long MOT (no advisories) in place it is ready to use this summer for those family picnics and fun days out. The exterior is complemented by the chrome bumpers and overiders, chrome door mirrors, shiny wheel trims and hub cap and the red coachline. The soft top is in excellent order and when down is covered by a burgundy hood tonneau. The interior is also in fine order. The red seats and door cards are in excellent condition and very comfortable to use. The carpets are like new and match the rest of the interior well. There is a large auxiliary interior light fitted and there is even a working heater to keep the chill off your toes! The boot area is also nicely carpeted and there you will find the spare wheel and all the tools which are in a very interesting tool bag! Take a look at the pictures.The car still has the original and working semaphore style indicators on the side of the car. Mechanically all is well with the 948cc engine and 4 speed gearbox working well together and propelling the car along at a fair speed to keep you up with modern traffic. Massie has covered 3000 miles in the last 5 years. The tyres are all good and the car is ready to enjoy!
