This is an unrepeatable opportunity to acquire a rare Morris Oxford Half Ton Van that has been subject to a full nut and bolt restoration with absolutely no expense spared. The Morris’ elderly owner, a classic commercial collector purchased the Van over 20 years ago back in 2004 and decided in 2022 to commission a full rebuild that totalled almost £60, 000. The Morris has covered just running in miles since and is only being offered onto the market as its long-term owner is downsizing his collection. This is a very special vehicle, and due to the recent expenditure, we would like to attract offers and do our very best for its owner who has chosen to spend a huge amount of money to rescue this collectable commercial spending way over its value. We require a buyer who can appreciate what has been done to the Morris and recognise how rare this opportunity is. There really cannot be another one like this, and rather than place the Morris in auction, we have been entrusted to find a new home. AUM 92 was completely stripped down to the rolling shell, the body was then completely restored with various new panels. Extensive metal work was carried out, the bare shell then prepared for painting to include the fully stripped engine bay, inside and underside. The Van was then fitted up with renewed brightwork, new lamps, trims, rubbers, windscreen and new wiring loom. With the engine removed, it was completely rebuilt and re-fitted with many new ancillaries. The brakes, suspension, steering and fuel system was all renewed and the Morris fitted with a brand new set of tyres. The interior was re-upholstered and in 2023 the Morris was back on the road for the first time in 20 years. Since completion the Morris has covered just running in miles. The Van is mechanically first class and drives superbly after the program of work. AUM 92 presents beautifully with a gleaming paint finish, is structurally outstanding and the engine bay is finished to a show standard. The condition is stunning throughout, the Van is ideal for shows, events and would also make a fantastic marketing tool for a business. It long term owner is very proud to brought this Van back to life and from the beginning of its restoration, accepted the cost would outstrip value. This has been a true labour of love and we hope its next owner will cherish and enjoy this Van for years to come.
