Seller's comments about 1927' Morris Oxford Judges Saloon
A unique saloon made for a Judge in the cheltenham area. Fitted with Horstman "Slow Motion suspension" and a folding roof running on tracks. Chassis has been blasted and painted black and all heavy components have been blasted, powder coated and sprayed with cellulose. Engine has been refurbished, clutch re-corked and brakes overhauled. New tyres and tubes fitted all round.Wood has been cleaned back and varnished and cloth headlining replaced with wool cloth.Nickle plating of parts required. New radiator core fitted with a refurbished German silver nickle cowling. Enough cellulose paint will be available for completing the car , Seats and door cards and minor door trims need re-upholstering. Currently in a cloth which suits the car. the car will need wiring which is simplicity itself. It has stood for three years so will require checking over before starting. Car is blue over black with blue interior. Ill health is the reason for sale.
