Seller's comments about 1958' Morris Traveller
1958 Morris Minor Traveller 1000 in birch grey and red leather interior, very rare in this condition has extensive service history from 1958 to 2000, and the original purchase receipt original brochures and old MOTs. This is a matching numbers car still on it's original 948cc 1958 engine it even has its original running in stickers in the history. This car has never been fully restored is a real time warp in every respect has been a cherished car from new, the underside is excellent the timber frame is very good has had a repair by it's cabinet maker ex owner to a high standard it starts and runs on the button and turns head where ever I take it. It has no seat belts (exempt as were not yet invented) a 1950's dog mascot on the bonnet ( a lovely piece of it's history), also it still has it's original and working trafficators and original early headlamps and sidelights. The car as would be expected has had repairs over the years and is now an excellent rare example of an original unrestored early Morris 1000 Traveller. It has had a recent brake rebuild, stainless steel exhaust and new early radiator amongst other smaller items. It is Tax & MOT exempt is ready to be shown and enjoyed and driven ( I have used it all summer). It has it's original valuable number plate, transferable but it would be a shame to transfer it as it's part of it's original history. Has all the early 1000 traveller features including early indicator arm and parking light jack plug and lovely red leather interior in lovely condition a real time warp car in every respect car is in Rugby Warwickshire viewing by appointment please.
New project forces reluctant sale as I know I will never find a traveller with this history again.
