‘Rosie’ my 1963 Morris Traveller finished in rose taupe for sale to create garage space and reduce my car collection. The car has previously been subject to an extensive refurbishment and whilst not concours the car is in very good condition. The interior is finished in the desirable two-tone red and grey. The underside is in superb condition as is the bodywork. In my ownership over the last two years improvements and refurbishments include: new battery, new leaf springs, new brake slave cylinders, locking petrol filler cap, halogen headlights, power socket for phone or satnav, and this year a new clutch, electronic ignition and a replacement axle. The car had earlier benefitted from the fitting of a brake servo. The engine starts ‘on the button’, the pull start is a satisfying feature and makes me smile each time I start the car. The electronic ignition helps keep the car in tune and regularly returns 38-42 mpg on Continental tours. The engine pulls strongly and idles easily and is free from smoke. The car is exempt from MOT test and road tax. A reliable and practical classic. The car will be sold with a new MOT. AA inspection welcome.
