We are pleased to present the sale of a unique Oldsmobile 88 from 1955, which impresses with its completely original condition. The car has a single-layer paint coating in beautiful green metallic.
The car was imported into the country from Canada in 2019. Its heart is a 5.3-liter V8 engine, which works with a four-speed hydramatic automatic transmission. Both of these components are in excellent condition.
In 2020, the interior of the Oldsmobile underwent a comprehensive renovation. The original upholstery remained on most of the side panels and the lower parts of the B-pillars. When dismantling the upholstery, the condition of the floor and roof sheet metal was carefully verified, which turned out to be very good.
Over the last four years, Oldsmobile has undergone a number of repairs and regenerations, including: generator, battery, idler, vacuum valve, brakes and regular oil and filter services. The gearbox pan was sealed and the left headlight was replaced. All these activities contributed to keeping the car in excellent technical condition.
Additional Oldsmobile equipment includes an accessory cabin vacuum gauge and an additional vacuum fan behind the rear seat.
The 1955 Oldsmobile 88 also has an interesting history, as it was featured in a jewelry ad featuring Robert Lewandowski's wife.
