The Opel Captain stood for luxury, prosperity and reliability for decades. After four generations of this legendary series since 1938, which had successfully mobilized many prominent contemporaries, Opel developed the new Captain P 2.6 in record time at the end of the '50s. The six-cylinder Opel, which now had a speed of up to 150 km/h, became a crowd favorite and was most often ordered as a luxurious L version until 1964.
The example presented here, first registered on October 24, 1963, spent a long time in the Netherlands, where the current owner bought it a few years ago. In its restored condition, this Opel was rarely moved as part of an impressive vintage car collection and is therefore now looking for a new owner who will continue to look after it just as well. Both the body and the technology are in good to very good condition, which is also confirmed by a very recent appraisal.

I would like to warmly invite you to view the vehicles on site. The vehicles are located in A-2460 Bruck an der Leitha and is halfway between Vienna and Bratislava, each about 25 km away. By car, our location is directly via the A4 motorway, exit Bruck/L. West can be reached very quickly. Arriving by plane is very easy via the international airport Vienna-Schwechat (Vienna Airport), only 20 km away, or via Bratislava Airport, 35 km away. We would also be happy to pick you up personally from one of the two airports.
