1971' Opel Manta

In 1969, designer George Gallion went to Paris to join marine biologist Jacques Cousteau to see some photographs of mantas that his team had captured. Several hours later, he found one that caught his attention. A gigantic manta ray photographed from below against the bright surface of the sea. This then became the car's emblem. Chrome, placed on the front fenders. Emblems with this feature are no longer made.
In 1970, the first Opel Manta left the Antwerp factory and, with it, a model that would tell more than 1 million stories.
