Welcome to Oldie Point! We are always looking for vintage and classic cars! We look forward to your offer! The Rekord P2 is a car model that Opel brought onto the market in August 1960 as the successor to the Opel Olympia Rekord P. The body was redesigned and the panoramic windows - what the "P" stood for in the model name - were no longer bent around as much as on the predecessor, which made it easier to get in at the front. Following the taste of the time, the small tail fins were useful as guides for parking. The example presented here was registered for the first time in April 1962 as an executive car in Eisenstadt. After several changes of ownership in eastern Austria, it finally came into collector's hands and continued to be very well cared for and maintained. The small work on the body that was recently professionally carried out was even documented with photos. This Opel has so far been very well preserved, largely in its original condition - both the body, the interior and the mechanics confirm this and make this classic car a very reliable and absolutely contemporary companion on four wheels!
