Seller's comments about 1945' Packard Clipper Special Eight (120)

National in excellent condition.

Brand of enormous prestige and quality.

Completely reviewed by Timeless Garage.

New classic tires.

Rare vehicle.

“Designed by Howard “Dutch” Darrin in just 10 days, paid magnificently at 1000 Dollars a day (!), were presented in April 1941. With a completely new chassis and many technical innovations, such as an automatic start button , or a heating fan under the driver's seat, were at the time the largest and most expensive production cars in the world. They were equipped with a huge in-line 8-cylinder engine. This example has the particularity of having been built in 1942, although its sale was only registered in 1945, that is, after World War II. This fact makes it very rare, as there were very few cars built by Packard in 1942″
