This is a car built with all genuine 1923 Peugeot mechanical parts, and in the style that someone may have done in the period to participate on motoring events of the era.
As it is is now it would be suitable for VSCC Edwardian and Light Car events. (note, I have not applied, but informed by many folks it would be well accepted)
The body is built from alloy over steel frame members.
It has a V5C in my name and currently SORN.
As can be seen there is finishing work to be done.
Mechanically the 4 speed and reverse gearbox has been looked, believed to be sound and usable, as is the rear axle.
Front end works well, although I had rebushing of kingpins on my list of "to do"
The engine does need work. I have gone no further than checking the bearings, they need to be replaced. Big ends are white metal, mains are ball bearing. Because of this need I have not dismantled it in order to concentrate on the rest of the car. Perhaps a bigger engine might be your thoughts? Perhaps an Aero?
Rear brakes have 4 shoes per side, 2 on the footbrake, 2 on the handbrake
