Professional restoration
The vehicle in question underwent a complete, professional restoration that lasted two years and was dismantled into all of its individual parts. In this case no effort and even less expense were spared. The body was completely dismantled, cleaned, stripped of paint except for the pure sheet metal, protected against corrosion and given a new multi-layer paint structure in the correct color “Lemon Twist”. In the meantime, all technical components such as the engine, transmission, all ancillary units such as carburetors and electrical components, front and rear axles, the entire brake system with lines, hydraulic cylinders and pads have been completely overhauled or replaced with new parts. All rubber parts and seals on the car were also replaced.
Classic of the muscle car era with a brand new, tuned 360 V-8 engine, 5.9 liters, 295 hp, quadruple carburettor and ignition sequence manifold, double-pipe exhaust system with a fantastic sound.
The entire interior including the carpets, seat covers and the dashboard upholstery were replaced with new parts that were true to the original. The chrome parts such as the bumper, door handles, window cranks, antenna, lettering and emblems are also in new condition or have also been replaced.
The painstaking work and more than $60,000 spent restoring this gem were not in vain. This excellent vehicle also has excellent driving performance and is probably unique in Europe due to its condition. It would definitely enhance any muscle car collection! The car has already been taxed and cleared. It has papers from the Republic of Austria and is ready to register! ________________________________________
