As you may know it is sister rig to the Dodge Ram Charger and we have learned that for approx every 4 Ram Chargers Dodge Built Plymouth Built approx 1 Ram Charger you really never see them much less one of this quality! This belongs in any Mopar Collectors Collection it is that quality. Everything has been gone thru & rebuilt or restored with NOS parts when available just under 800 miles ago on complete build. Lets touch on some details that this Gem has! It was professional frame-off rotisserie restored by JCJ Customs of Fort Worth, Texas using NOS parts when and where available. Original sheet metal, floors and spot welds it is a Texas southwest truck since new. Truck was stripped to bare metal and Sandox 2-stage base/clear paint was applied, Frame powder coated by Quality Powdercoating in Carrolton, Texas. Buckskin Ultra-leather upholstery and door panels by Clinks Custom Auto Upholstery. Matching Soft Topper convertible top. Very desirable & valuable Date code correct 1971 Plymouth 340 CI V-8 engine rebuilt by Wayne Calverts Precision Engines in Denton, Texas. Dyno tested at 329 HP, dyno sheet included. Mancini Racing adjustable roller rockers. Forged crankshaft. New camshaft. pistons, springs and valves, J heads were ported and polished by Petes Machine Shop in Fort Worth, Texas. Edelbrock intake manifold. Holley Street Avenger carburetor. Mopar Performance electronic distributor. MP valve covers. Powermaster alternator. Hedman ceramic coated headers. Custom exhaust with Turbo Thrush mufflers. Mile Marker part time 4-wheel drive kit. Chrysler 9 1/4 rear end with new limited slip gearing. Dana 44 front end rebuilt with period correct front locking hubs. All new & rebuilt & restored suspension & brakes. Power Front disc brakes, factory calipers retained. Cold Classic Auto Air installed by Injected Customs in Fort Worth, Texas & hot heat. 5 Factory-look wheels provided by Method Racing with LT 295-75-16 inCH BF-Goodrich All-Terrain Radial T/As. Rare correct sport rear bumper. Fantastic super clean Sport trim moldings & badged. This Trailduster was a benchmark for reproducing the factory wiring harness for future Trailduster, Power Wagon and Ramcharger restorations.
