Collection Porsche 356 Cab Pre-A can be seen in Charlotte, North Carolina strait out of a private collection from Naples, Florida. This 1953 Porsche 356 Reutters Cabriolet is full matching #s car has not only the engine and transmission in the original chassis, but all moving panels, doors, hood, engine lid, and bumpers will have numbers that match the chassis. Comes fully restored with documentation & every imaginable pictures of the full restoration work. The restoration has been completed by a reputable shop with plenty of experience within the Porsche World. This Includes fabricator & restoration people who had completed the work. Extremely meticulously done. This Porsche is a one of a kind for the true enthusiast and will be hard to replicate. Externally the bumpers were modified to the versions used through the end of 356A production. Side-by-side beehive taillights replaced the vertical arrangement used previously. Front signal lights were directly below the headlights. A Porsche crest adorned the horn button of the new steering wheel. The 519 gearbox with Porsche synchromesh on all forward gears and 11 aluminum brake drums were major advances. In 1953 the less expensive, more basic, America-series coupe and cabriolet models, inspired by importer Max Hoffman, debuted in the US.<br /><br /><br /><br />A full description of this time capsule will be available to serious buyers.
