According the the COA chassis number 109041 was completed in December 1959 and delivered new to California via Hoffman Motors of New York. The car is presented in its original colour scheme, Ruby Red over black and has been subject to a recent recommissioning works and restoration by Export 56
Brief History of Chassis Number: 109041
According to the Certificate of Authenticity this car originally left the factory with Ruby Red (5702) body colour with black Leatherette interior. There were no options noted on the COA.
There is not a great deal known about the early history of this car other than the following details that were passed on by the previous owner who claims thew car was initially registered in California to a lady, who was the first of, we believe, four owners. After six years, it passed to its second keeper who owned the car for over fourty years with the last twenty being in storage. The Porsche continued to enjoy the sunshine, as its third owner lived in Texas which is where it was found by the current owner who moved it to Florida and used it frequently at his holiday home before deciding to bring the car back to the UK in 2014.
Since 2014 the car has been restored to Show Standard and is ready to be enjoyed.
