Seller's comments about 1964' Porsche 356
For sale beautiful Porsche 356 type C, year 1964.
Very carefully restored. The car was bought in 2021 from the Netherlands and was not originally intended for trade. One and a half years of restoration but the affect is great. Practically everything has been done except for the varnish - the current varnish does have flaws, but it doesn't look bad, and varnishing takes months in the paint shop, so I leave this decision to the next buyer. The car was bought from Kieft&Klok, a well-known Dutch company. It drove, but was in a state far from present. In my hands has been done:
- suspension regeneration,
- regeneration of the braking system,
- regeneration of the steering system,
- New ignition device, high voltage wires and spark plugs,
- starter regeneration,
- Replacing the rear lights and indicators with European ones
- valve cover gasket replacement,
- Replacing the floor with a new one
- regeneration of the dashboard,
- Regeneration of the seats - the filling was replaced in the front ones, the rear ones were made completely new.
- Replacement of the wiper motor
- Replacing the headliner
The car works perfectly, looks insane. I have a Porsche certificate of authenticity and photo documentation of the restoration. I'm not a dealer, just an enthusiast, I have a modest private collection.
