In September 1963, Porsche presented the Porsche 901, the successor to the Porsche 356, to the public at the IAA in Frankfurt. A year later, starting with the 1965 model year, series production of the model, which was shortly afterwards renamed the 911, began.
The vehicle was delivered to the USA in 1966 and returned to Germany in the 1990s. Based on the available photo documentation, the car was completely and faithfully restored from the bodyshell to its original base, which was in excellent condition.
In the course of the restoration, the vehicle was repainted in its original color.
A valuation report with an originality check by Klaus Kukuk and a birth certificate from Porsche Classic are available.
