The Porsche 911 – for generations it has stood for sporty driving, unmistakable design and that certain something that sets it apart from the rest of the world. For the 1974 model year, the 911 was fundamentally revised: the displacement of the still air-cooled six-cylinder boxer engine was increased to 2.7 liters, with the most striking external identifying feature being the higher and more massive bumpers, which merge into the body via black plastic bellows. We present you here a Porsche 911 Coupé 2.7 from the 1974 model year, which was shipped to Los Angeles, California was delivered and has “matching numbers” according to the Porsche certificate. In 2016 the car was imported from Austria through a well-known classic car dealer and individually approved. A few years later, this 911 was completely reworked by a famous restorer from Graz and was largely restored to a very good condition that was true to the original. This was also confirmed by a very experienced expert in the valuation report from the beginning of 2025, in which the vehicle was certified as being in 2+ condition and having a replacement value of € 95,000. The current speedometer reading was converted to km/h during the restoration and reset to zero. This 911 is therefore in very good general condition - visually and technically.
