I’ve had this car from January 2015, I bought her from my local specialist Tom Ferguison as a project.
She has stamps in the service book from 1988 - 2001, and has been looked after by Tom Ferguison from 1995 - 2013. I have every invoice from Tom Ferguison’s.
I also have MOT’s from 1989 - present.
Since buying the car in 2015 I’ve personally carried out the following work.
In 2015,
Power steering leak fixed with new banjo washers and new fluid.
Distributor caps and rotors.
Spark plugs.
Wiper relay.
Flow and return fuel lines replaced with nylon.
Solid rubber Volvo engine mounts.
Alternator belt.
Bonnet struts.
I also rebuilt the tensioner with new gasket when I renewed the water pump, coolant, timing belt and tensioner.
GAZ fully adjustable coil overs.

In 2016 she had a full glass out, wings and door off respray with a new driver side sill.
Window scraper seals renewed and new body to bumper seals.

In 2017 she had oil and filter, air filter, thermostat and coolant change.
Front and rear wheel bearings.
Front and rear discs and pads.
Camshaft oil seals and 0 rings.
Second hand cruise control ECU.
Wheels powder coated in anthracite by alloy pro.
Stainless X pipe made and fitted by the exhaust doctor!

5 speed manual box drives excellent, no crunches or nasty noises.

She will come with 12 months MOT.

Just had new oil cooler crush washers fitted and new windscreen washer pump.

Only negatives, air con does not work, I think the radiator could be the cause.
Cracks in the dash and pod from sun damage.
Cruise control is sometimes intermittent.

I have a replacement sump gasket, power steering belt, oil filter and maybe a few other bits that can go with the car.

In summery she’s a beautiful 33 year old car you can drive every day or take to shows, she’s been very reliable and has NEVER broken down or let me down in anyway. The heating system works perfectly and blows hot and cold, all the electrics work (even the little red lights in the doors and the fader for the radio cassette!).

A little bit more effort in fitting a crack free dash and pod and she would be pretty much mint! I think in the current market I’ve priced the car very fairly leaving the new owner plenty of spare cash to address the few niggles or just enjoy as is.
