This is an extremely rare vehicle that will only, appreciate in value.
They were built on ’41 Plymouths so all the mechanicals were cheap and available. With a flathead six-cylinder engine.
The Grill / nose cap is fiberglass while the rest of the body is steel. The tailgate appears to be original diamond plate and bed surround. The front bumper is wood!
One of the coolest parts of the truck is the tube-like storage area that could have been located on either side of the rear of the truck. Intended to be used to store fishing poles.
I have a file of paperwork from the previous owner, he collected information on Powell’s and a letter he gave my dad when he purchased it back in 2001 to pass on the new owner.
It has been stored in our storage yard in the USA all this time.
I think this maybe the only one to exist outside of the USA.
