For sale is this rare MK1 1960 Riley 1. 5 in Old English white over leaf green, quite a unique colour way.

Strong, sporty engine with good, functional twin carbs allowing for easy motorway cruising at 70. A much better improvement on its Wolseley cousin. 50/ 60psi oil pressure, temp is stable and have done 159 mile journeys without a peep.

Gearbox is nice and strong with a new slave cylinder recently fitted.

Brakes pull up nicely due to the bigger Girling setup. New rear cylinders and shoes.

Interior front seats would benefit from recovering but currently have a set of custom covers from a previous owner. Carpet is good. All panel dials work as should and the illuminated dials are a sight to behold at night. Headlining is good.

Paintwork is presentable but could really do with a quick rub and respray if you wanted to show it.

Brightwork is pitted but complete which is rare for this car. It features a much nicer and fuller chrome set up to later models and is all present and correct.

Underneath is pretty solid. Has been previously undersealed but have removed some to check and metal is good underneath. At some point a sill and chassis leg would be necessary.

Just installed new window channel seals to keep the water out.

Currently running a wider 165 tyre.

Selling due to my ‘72 Midget coming back from the paint shop and can sadly only keep one car on the road.

Never fails to turn heads and always a loving comment at the petrol station.

There’s very few of these round any more and this is a decent example which is soaring in both rarity and price.

Use as is or gently restore.
