1953' Riley Rmf 2½ Litre Saloon

To describe this as a rolling restoration would be to understate the condition. I did a wedding in it a fortnight ago, so it can't be that bad to look at.
It is a good running solid car with a list of cosmetic issues needing remedied such as indifferent chrome here & there, the above average interior is compromised by issues such as an attack by previous gorillas who decided to re-weld the seat frame by removing the seat backs apparently with a JCB and reattaching them with screws & cups rather than the renailing exercise that a kind workman would have done. Redoable obviously, but it is stuff like this that has pitched the price at restoration grade rather that prizewinner grade. Interior headlining is on its last legs round the rear window, though the external roof covering is good.
