1931 Rolls Royce 20/ 25 H. J. Mulliner 4 Light Saloon Chassis number: GTR8 Registration number: JF1035 A very nicely proportioned owner driver saloon by H. J. Mulliner of Bedford Park Works in Chsiwick. This car has clearly had considerable money spent upon it to bring to the excellent condition we find in in today. There are recent bills with the car for close to £10, 000 by marque specialists Hillier & Hill. The car is finished in white over black with the paintwork being of recent origin & in lovely condition. This is a non Division car affording plenty of leg room from the adjustable seats for those of taller stature. To the interior is really fine antique brown leather to the door cars & matching leather to the comfortable seats. Beige carpets throughout complete the ensemble. The highly figured burr Walnut dash board & door caps have been removed & refinished. Under the bonnet this Rolls Royce 20/ 25 is well detailed with it's original undertrays & bakelite coil holder in place. The rebuilt engine starts readily & runs cool barely reaching 60 degrees as a result of the radiator having a new core fitted. The engine starts instantly & pulls strongly allowing for all day long 50MPH cruising. Oil pressure is good at between 20 & 30psi when hot. The pedals show little wear giving credence to this being a low mileage car. The steering likewise has no play in it whatsoever, being both play free & direct. A large sunroof slides easily open allowing for semi alfresco motoring. A slide out picnic table is located underneath the glove box. To sum up this is a car in way above average condition & is absolutely ready to be extensively used. The car is a pleasure to drive & gleans smiles wherever it appears.
