Seller's comments about 1974' Rolls-Royce Corniche

The name Corniche was introduced in 1971 for the coupé and convertible versions of the Silver Shadow, which had been manufactured since 1965 and 1967 respectively. Officially, Rolls-Royce called it the Two Door Saloon and it had similar dimensions to the four-door saloons in terms of space. The vehicles were manufactured by the Rolls-Royce coachbuilder Mulliner Park Ward in London. The Corniche had the company's regular V8 engine with an engine block made of an aluminum-silicon alloy (Alusil), aluminum cylinder heads and wet cast iron cylinder liners. 1041 mm bore and 991 mm stroke resulted in a total displacement of 6750 cm³. Initially the engine was equipped with two SU carburettors, from 1975 onwards it was fitted with a Solex four-barrel carburettor. From 1980 onwards, Bosch injection was used. The three-speed automatic, a Turbo Hydramatic 400, came from General Motors. The chassis had independent suspension all around and coil springs on the front and rear axles, as well as automatic level control (manufactured by Rolls-Royce under a Citroën license without the pneumatic dampers), initially on all four wheels and later only on the rear wheels. From 1972 onwards, internally ventilated disc brakes provided deceleration. Subject to prior sale and errors. The vehicle description only serves to generally identify the vehicle and does not represent a warranty in the sense of sales law. You can obtain the exact scope of equipment from our sales staff.
