Seller's comments about 1953' Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith
A delightfully presented 1953, Rolls Royce Silver Wraith, LWB Park Ward bodied limousine - BLW 61. This highly original vehicle is offered in extremely fine standing presence and very strong mechanical order, with her condition being 65 to 70% in or of original paintwork and very beautifully patinated. The woodwork is tremendous, having been expertly restored by the previous owner, a cabinet maker and French polisher. The engine bay is very pleasingly presented, extremely clean and by-and-large original with all small tools present. The vehicle drives splendidly, gracefully and confidently enjoying both short and long-distance journeys across the many and varied parts of Aberdeenshire.
This vehicle has enjoyed a long and interesting life with 5 previous caring owners, the last being 40 plus years in Switzerland. She is frequently used and much enjoyed by her current owners in the Northeast of Scotland where she is much admired and was awarded “Best in Show” for the Scottish NE Historic Wheels Club 2021. She is reluctantly presented for sale to accommodate a new purchase.
These vehicles do not come on to the marketplace very frequently, particularly in this delightfully original and patinated ready to use and enjoy condition and this pleasing Silver Wraith is an ideal “club and touring” car for the family.
