Welcome to Oldie Point! We are always looking for vintage and classic cars! We look forward to your offer! Rover's P2 range, introduced in 1937, included 10, 12, 14 and 16 hp models. The 12 hp model, reintroduced after the Second World War, produced an attractive sports tourer variant in 1947. Only 200 examples of the open four-seater with an aluminum body on ash wood were made until 1948, with all but the first four being manufactured by APA Ltd. in Stoke Row, Coventry. We present you here one of these rare P2 Sports Tourers from 1947 - one of supposedly only 30-40 surviving examples. The vehicle was imported or typed by a renowned Austrian restorer in 1989 and has been owned by third parties or collectors ever since. In recent years, the tourer has been driven regularly and carefully at vintage car events, and since 2015 it has also been given a historical classification. The original British license plates are still there and read "GER 259". The body has a beautiful, homogeneous paint finish, the chrome trim has a strong shine and the interior is intact and very comfortable. Technically, this rare rover is also in very good condition, despite some small age-related problems. Commission sales on behalf of customers, therefore no guarantee. West can be reached very quickly. Arriving by plane is very easy via the international airport Vienna-Schwechat (Vienna Airport), only 20 km away, or via Bratislava Airport, 35 km away.
