1949' Rover 75 P3 75/6

1949 Rover P3 75/6 for sale. I’ve owned and loved this car for the past 12 years, but it’s time for a change of classics and so I’m putting it on the market. Originally registered in Berkshire the car has spent much of its life in Cornwall. The previous owner had done a lot of the restoration including fitting a replacement straight six engine from a P4. My contribution has been to clean the fuel tank, fit new fuel lines and filters; electronic ignition has replaced the points and an AccuSpark (C45) Dynamator has replaced the dynamo thus keeping it positive earth. Other replacements include the fuel pump, brake master cylinder and most recently two new tyres and a battery. The car starts on the button, pulls quietly and powerfully as you’d expect of a Rover 75/6.Things to do include: body respray (except roof), renovating interior and chrome work. Ready for use this would be a rolling restoration that comes with some spares, old buff log book documenting early history in addition to recent service history and Rover workshop manuals.
